    1. Nice blog...I noticed that you are posting about the book He and I. That's one of my favorite books! I was looking for posts about it on your blog, but I don't think you have started yet? That would be a wonderful book study for Catholic Bloggers to do together.

  5. Thanks for commenting, everyone! Thanks for your patience as we get this bulletin board page going! I'm hoping that this will be a neat forum for Catholic Bloggers to come to and ask questions, but also answer questions and requests. Keep visiting each other's blogs and leave comments! We can all help each other and build the Catholic Blogger Network. Thanks!

  6. I've been blogging for a while but have really ramped it up in the past year. My goal/purpose has changed from one of exclusively creative posting to a hodgepodge of crafting, cooking, pro-life and Catholic. Please give me your best shot. I'd like to be effective and have more followers. http://designsbybirgit.blogspot.com/

  7. I also have a technical question. My blog is published through Blogger but I also have a website - www.designsbybirgit.com - I would like to have a feed of my posts automatically appear on my website. Does anyone know how to do this?

  8. Hi Birgit...thanks for adding comments...I'm hoping that other Catholic Bloggers are responding to inquiries on this page.
If there is any interest in creating an official Blog Critique Panel...please respond here! I think I might make one of the worst critique-ers (critters we used to call them in architecture school =) I don't really like being critical...and I'm still trying to learn what works on my own blog (I'm open to critiques too!)
Some people have a great eye for what works on blogs and a desire to share their opinions! Come on out and be an official Catholic Blogger Blog Critter!

Birgit...I'd love to know how to feed posts to a non-blog website...I'll be watching anxiously if anyone pipes in! =)

One more thing...Birgit...I'm actually going to remove your link on the link-up above because I couldn't find a request in the post that it links to. That link-up is specifically for blogposts about special requests (for guest bloggers, blog critiques)...but I'm not sure it's working so well! You did just the right thing, adding your comments here. I just hope I'm not the only one to see them! =)

  9. OK...Birgit...yet ANOTHER thing. =) Please remember to add your links at the Monthly RoundUp here: http://www.catholicbloggersnetwork.com/p/weekly-round-up.html

  10. I have been blogging for a while but it was more a private journal for me in the beginning. However, now I am ready to extend out and share our family's Catholic Christian music and reflections plus my homeschooling and Catholic mom advice. Also I have a desire to link up with other homeschool moms and we are a military family moving a ton...so an online network is appealing to me. Can you please take a look at my blog: http://harringtonharmonies.blogspot.com/ and let me know what you think? I am currently working on a professional FB page and want to set up a twitter too. But I want to customize the buttons. Do you know of a good user friendly tutorial to teach me the code I need? Let me know what I need to improve. Thank you.

  15. Hello!
I've been blogging for over a year now, and I stumbled across this site, it's pretty cool that there are so many Catholic bloggers out there, I can't wait to read, read, read.
A bit about myself: I'm a 23 year old woman from Ireland, and my blog is essentially everything Catholic with my life intertwined throughout. I would love if some of you checked it out, and let me know what you think. I write whatever is on my heart at the time, and I don't try to be too fancy with it all.
    God Bless!

  17. Prayer to the Blessed Virgin (Never known to fail.)

Oh most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven.

Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity.

Oh Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother.

Oh Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity (make request.)

There are none that can withstand your power.

Oh Mary, conceived without sin, Pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Holy Mother, I place this Prayer in your hands.

Say this Prayer 3 times a day for 3 consecutive days. Publish it and your Prayer will be granted.

  18. Shoulder wound of Jesus . . .

Oh loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy shoulder, on which Thou did bear Thy heavy cross, which tore Thy flesh and lay Thy bones as to inflict an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy most blessed body.

I adore Thee, oh Jesus most sorrowful. I praise and glorify Thee, and give thanks fully to Thee for the most holy and sacred and painful wound. Beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy cross to be
merciful to me on towards heaven along the way of Thy cross. In Jesus' name (make request) Amen to all.

**This powerful prayer must be said for requests and most urgent help. After you have said it, ask for requests, then you must publish it right away
    for requests to be granted.**

Thank you for hearing my prayers I have a lot of faith that my prayer has already been answered. God Bless. Amen.

    Michael.

  28. Does anyone know how to fix a problem with your feed not updating in the blogger dashboard and the blogrolls? I have tried pinging the feed several times (as blogger suggests), but my feed is not updating. When I wrote my last post, the e-mail did go out to subscribers (I've had problems with that twice before and know how to fix it), but the new post doesn't appear on the dashboard or in blogrolls. I can't locate any help topics on this in the blogger groups (where blogger sends you for help). I have noticed that other blogs I follow have the same problem (for a long time), but I don't want my blog to be stuck. Any suggestions?
